Facial Serums

Beta 4 is a limited release of three 50 mL facial serums: PRIMA, EQUILIBRIUM SERUM, and NIGHT SERUM.

Skin care is a daily ritual of attention to the body: not another measure of adequacy, and not another private act of care to be absorbed by trends.

With Beta 4, I am building toward a system I would want to use for the next decade: effective enough to remain present in my daily life, and refined as science and ingredients improve. I believe this standard is worth sharing, and I invite you to join the beta.

The System

The idea behind the set is simple: a moisturizer can feel good in the morning and still leave skin feeling dry or tight a few hours later. These serums are anhydrous lipid layers designed to sit after moisturizer and help keep the skin surface comfortable for longer.

The full Beta 4 set is the clearest way to understand the release; individual bottles are available if one direction feels more useful to you.

EQUILIBRIUM SERUM is active-free barrier support. PRIMA is the morning Vitamin C version. NIGHT SERUM is the evening bakuchiol version.

Ingredients

The ingredients are organized by role: the carrier oils make the lipid layer, the antioxidants support the formula, and the actives define the morning and evening versions.

Carrier oil blend

Hemisqualane, squalane, jojoba, meadowfoam, and rosehip were used. Light, skin-compatible lipids chosen for slip, cushion, and daily wear.

Antioxidant system

CoQ10, Vitamin E, Lipochroman-6, rosemary oleoresin, and Vitamin C were used. A restrained antioxidant structure, not decorative botanical noise.

Actives by role

EQUILIBRIUM SERUM is active-free. PRIMA uses oil-soluble Vitamin C. NIGHT SERUM uses bakuchiol.

How to use

Start with less than you think you need. Amount will depend on your skin, the weather, indoor air, SPF, and whether you wear makeup.

Routine image: moisturizer, serum, SPF, and bottle. Keep it practical and documentary.

Morning, simplest

  1. Cleanse or rinse.
  2. Apply moisturizer if you use one.
  3. Apply a small amount of EQUILIBRIUM SERUM.
  4. Let it settle, then apply SPF.
  5. Apply makeup, if used.

Morning, active

  1. Cleanse or rinse.
  2. Apply moisturizer if you use one.
  3. Apply a small amount of PRIMA.
  4. Let it settle, then apply SPF.
  5. Apply makeup, if used.

Evening

  1. Cleanse.
  2. Apply moisturizer if you use one.
  3. Finish with EQUILIBRIUM SERUM or NIGHT SERUM.
  4. Start NIGHT SERUM slowly.
